Two Special Breakout Sessions Featuring PBIS Rewards and reACT To Bullying
In 2017, PBIS Rewards joined forces with reACT to Bullying, a powerful anti-bullying program presented to more than 125,000 people and counting. Founder Matt Hart became part of the PBIS Rewards family, traveling the country with his personal and powerful presentation.
For attendees at Innovative Schools Summit Atlanta, Matt will present two sessions that help schools and communities connect the dots between bullying and character education.
- Success With PBIS: Strategies and Ideas That Work
- Bully Prevention: First Things First
In Matt’s Success With PBIS session, attendees will hear how schools around the country are successfully providing character education through a PBIS framework. PBIS can significantly improve school climate, and in this session, attendees will hear strategies for student and staff engagement, discuss data tracking, and debunk PBIS myths. Attendees will also learn how to operate a successful token economy without paper tickets, tokens, or spreadsheets.
Matt’s Bullying Prevention session will be an interactive workshop centering on identifying bullying as well as guiding students to react to bullying. Session participants will also develop three solid action steps to implement at their school to combat bullying. Matt’s high-energy workshop session will provide practical and effective strategies address bullying behaviors no matter where they occur in the school setting.
