Description
PBIS is designed to provide proactive systems of support that meet the diverse behavioral and social-emotional needs of all students. During this informative session, participants will explore how the Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) intervention can be implemented as an effective Tier 2 and Tier 3 support strategy for students who benefit from additional structure, encouragement, and accountability throughout the school day.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how CICO functions within PBIS Rewards, including student check-ins, progress monitoring, goal tracking, and communication processes between school staff and families. We will also review the important roles and responsibilities of CICO coaches, teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent implementation and positive student outcomes.
This session is ideal for schools seeking to strengthen intervention systems, improve student support structures, and create meaningful opportunities for student growth and success.
