Parent App Updates and Loss of Authorization
Over the weekend of September 12th, we published an update to the PBIS Rewards Parent App that has caused some existing parents to be signed out of the Parent App… specifically iOS users. The app update was necessary to ensure we can continue supporting the most recent devices for both iOS (Apple) and Android. However, in our testing, we missed the fact that this update could and would sign parents out of the app if they were already connected to the app for your school. And although this is currently only impacting iOS users, it will also impact Android users in the next few days.
We greatly apologize for the pain and confusion that this has caused you. We would not have been able to work around this issue, but had we known about it, we would have communicated to your school in advance so that they could have planned around it.
The good news is that you can sign back into the PBIS Rewards Parent App using the original communication from your school. You may have gotten this via a printed letter, an email, or a text message. If you do not still have that, please contact your school. We are unable to send it to you directly, but your school can resend it to you.
Again, I am really sorry that we have caused this confusion and significant inconvenience.
