The Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) is a statewide umbrella organization for school leaders at every level. The seven professional affiliate associations under the GAEL umbrella include school leaders in elementary, middle, and high schools as well as superintendents and administrators throughout public education in the state of Georgia. GAEL’s mission is to provide high-quality leadership development, advocacy, and a network of resources for its members.
The GAEL Summer Conference
Now in its 45th year, the GAEL Summer Conference takes place July 14-17, 2019, with the exhibit hall open July 14-16, at the Jekyll Island Convention Center in Jekyll Island, Georgia. The theme of this year’s conference is “Make Schools Safe Again.” Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan are each scheduled to deliver speeches to attendees during the first afternoon of the conference.
