Many schools use Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) to assist students in Tier II and Tier III interventions. However, moving from the physical classroom to a distance learning environment can be an additional challenge for CICO students. These students benefit on the connection that CICO provides, and it might feel impossible to give them what they need to be successful. Fortunately, PBIS Rewards’ digital Check-In/Check-Out feature can help schools to maintain that connection!
Using Digital CICO for Distance Learning
PBIS Rewards recently hosted a flash webinar entitled “Digital CICO – Staying Connected in Distance Learning,” which included educators from Parklane Elementary School in Fulton County, Georgia. These panelists were:

Parklane Elementary uses PBIS Rewards and the digital CICO feature included in our software. As Fulton County’s schools entered into a long-term distance learning environment, Parklane educators sought ways to connect with their CICO students in ways that would help them continue to grow. They contacted PBIS Rewards Support for guidance and spoke with our own Jill Hanson.
