The Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS) promotes the use of positive behavior supports in a variety of settings ranging from education to mental health to child welfare. Each year, APBS hosts an international conference focused on providing educators, administrators, researchers, and others with the most current research in the field. The 17th International Conference of Positive Behavioral Support takes place March 11-14, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency in Miami.

The conference’s General Session speaker, Robert Schalock, Ph.D., will examine the concept of quality of life and affiliated supports as they change over the course of a lifespan. Keynote Speaker Caryn Ward, Ph.D., will explore the strategies and methods necessary to ensure effective use of supports in a variety of community settings.
