We understand that funding can be difficult and that’s why we are excited to share with you a potential funding source for PBIS in your school.
PBIS Rewards in your school could be fully sponsored by a local bank with CRA funding.
We have been successful in helping schools establish a relationship with local banks to generate funds for PBIS Rewards. This opportunity is available because of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). CRA requires most banks to establish a fund that must be invested into the qualifying part of the community.
Your school may qualify for CRA funding to pay for PBIS Rewards if your Free and Reduced Lunch rate is above 50.1%.
How do you get started?
Here are the documents to give you more information on bank funding and how it could help your school. Each downloadable file is a PDF.
- Funding Request Overview – A general overview of a bank’s CRA fund and how you can request help in funding PBIS Rewards from a bank.
- Sample Letter – A sample letter that you can use as a guide to send to a local bank.
- Bank Overview – A document that you can give a bank explaining PBIS, PBIS Rewards, and how this benefits them. We recommend sending this document once you’ve made contact with a bank expressing interest.
