Our featured speakers, Mary Ann Borges and Jade Smith, will share their experiences and insights into how PBIS Rewards has brought about positive changes at their respective schools.
Mary Ann, a PBIS practitioner for the past eight years, will discuss her three-year journey with PBIS Rewards. During that three-year timespan, her school eliminated time-consuming paper tickets, developed innovative methods to fund their school store, and embraced badge scanning as a time saving way to recognize students, among other discoveries. In addition, Jade will share her insights on the effectiveness of PBIS Rewards with older students, strategies for staff buy-in, and the efficiency of using the Advanced Referral System to identify and address behavioral issues.
Both presenters will share ideas for incentives and discuss the ways in which they have used PBIS Rewards to facilitate data-driven decision making, which in turn has improved both student behavior and the school’s overall culture.
